My name is Elizabeth, and I am a MT state Licensed Massage Therapist and member of ABMP. My passion is CranioSacral Therapy - a light touch approach that assists the body to release deep tensions for the purpose of pain and stress relief, functional improvement, and increased whole body and mind health and performance.
I first got into massage because of the benefits I observed from the CranioSacral Therapy that myself and my friends and family received. Working as a nurse in the Emergency Room for sixteen years has opened my eyes to the limitations of western medicine, and given me a desire to bring a different form of help to those who continue to suffer.
In my practice CranioSacral Therapy is my preferred modality, but I also do more traditional massage which I refer to as therapeutic massage. This is a combination of other types of bodywork that I have received training in, such as Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Orthobionomy, and Visceral Manipulation. I have also recently received training in Neural Manipulation, and am working on incorporating that into my practice. The focus of Neural Manipulation is working specifically with nerves, and my training so far addresses nerves frequently affected by concussions, traumatic brain injuries, whiplash, and falls.
I enjoy climbing, skiing, biking, jiu-jitsu, and hiking and I really enjoy being a part of the holistic health community in the Gallatin Valley!
